Fat Loss 4 Idiots - Tips For Losing Weight

The Fat loss 4 idiots diet plan is taking the internet by storm, and is one of the most popular weight loss programs around these days. Although this diet may be great for some people, for others, it probably isn't the best diet program. It is an 11 day meal plan that is generated by an online software. You can choose what your favorite foods are, input that into the software, and it will automatically generate an 11 day meal plan for you. Fat loss 4 idiots will generate 4 meals for you a day for 11 days, and after you complete the 11 day cycle, you will have 3 days of 'cheat meals' where you are allowed to eat whatever you want! You then start the 11 day diet again until you have reached your goal weight.

Although fat loss 4 idiots claims that you can lose 9 lbs in 11 days, this is unlikely, as everyone responds differently to different diets. There have been people who have lost 6 lbs in the first 11 days, and some who have lost 8. It all depends on how well you stick to the diet!

The reason why fat loss 4 idiots has been so successful for many people is that you still get to eat everything you like. You aren't forced to eat foods that you don't enjoy, and better yet, your 11 day meals will not be delivered to your door. You get to do your own grocery shopping and pick out the foods you are used to eating. You won't have to eat chicken that tastes like cardboard, like a lot of the diet plans out there today.

You are also given 3 days worth of cheating. This gives you something to look forward to during your 11 days of dieting. It will give you an incentive NOT to cheat during the 11 days. Please make sure you wait until the 11 day cycle is over before you cheat. It will be worth it in the end when you have reached your desired weight! For those of you who can't stick to the plan, you should look elsewhere for another diet program.

5 Tips To Lose 15 Pounds Fast

How many diets and exercise programs have you seen that promise to help you lose 15 pounds fast? I wonder how many people have used these products successfully? From my experiences I have found that the problem with these kind of claims is that although it may be possible to lose this amount of weight very quickly, it is not always the healthiest, safest option and very rarely does it lead to permanent weight-loss. This purpose of this article is to point you in the correct direction and to give tips and advice on how best to achieve your weight-loss targets.

Most diets available today claim to allow the dieter to shed pounds ridiculously quickly - who wouldn't want to lose 15 pounds fast?! - it is great marketing!. The truth is that although many of these diets do create an initial fast loss of weight, this rarely lasts and is more often than not due to water loss and muscle wastage. This type of dieting is extremely unhealthy and leads to dehydration and lowers ones energy and concentration levels. There are more effective ways to lose 15 pounds fast which can help you keep the weight off.

Other low calorie diets which are touted can work but it is important to realise that severe calorie restriction for too long leads to the body's metabolism slowing down significantly and heading towards its 'body starvation mode'. Once your body hits this starvation mode it will burn far less calories in a bid to stay alive!

The body will respond when entering body starvation mode by using its own reserves to provide energy, these reserves are not just the body's extra fat. Initially, glycogen stores (the storage form of carbohydrate in our body) are broken down for energy. Once this energy source is depleted within a few hours water is released and consequently a drop in weight is noticed.

The common problem associated with starvation-type diets is the resultant weight regain. When the starvation diet ends, the individual returns to the same old habits - there has been no life-style change which is really the key to losing weight and keeping it off. The composition of this weight regain is fat - this replaces the muscle mass lost during the diet and the individuals metabolic rate is decreased. The frustration experienced at this point leads the individual back onto another starvation type diet and so the cycle continues. This is why we see so many people seemingly on a constant diet. Remember - it is possible to lose 15 pounds fast, but keeping the pounds off is the real goal.

If you are one of those people that constantly seem to be dieting you will find that making the following small changes to your lifestyle will greatly improve your long-term weight loss goals;

1. Eat 4-6 small meals per day, balancing your intake of nutrients. This helps increase metabolism as your body is constantly working to process the food.

2. Start exercising - it may seem obvious but it is amazing how many people simply diet without any exercise. This helps your body increase its metabolic rate still further and will speed your weight-loss results.

3. Use weight training combined with aerobic exercise - you don't need to lift massively heavy weights - just do a little, it helps regain any muscle mass lost during dieting and the aerobic workout will help increase the appetite appropriately.

4. Eat Breakfast - this kick starts your metabolism for the day. Studies have shown that people who it a healthy breakfast actually lose more weight than people who skip it all together!

5. Drink Water - This is the energy source for all life, staying hydrated is vital.

There are few diets that enable you to lose 15 pounds fast and fewer still that can provide the continuous and long lasting results you are looking for. Small Changes Build to Weight Loss

Does this sound familiar....you promise yourself that the next morning you'll totally revamp your food choices, exercise daily, and be successful with your diet plan? Has it worked long-term? If not, maybe you tried to do too much too quickly. It can be overwhelming to make big changes and expect them to stick. Why not try something different? It is amazing how often we eat out of boredom, nervousness, habit, hobby, recreational sport, or frustration. Unfortunately for some of us that struggle with weight and food issues, we have actually forgotten what physical hunger and the cues feel like. Next time, wait until your stomach is growling before you reach for food. If you're craving a specific food, it's probably a craving, not hunger. It's probably your head that's hungry rather than your stomach. If you'd eat anything you could get your hands on, chances are you're truly physically hungry.

3. Out of sight, out of mind. The other day I found a surprise lurking in my refrigerator. It was a holiday treat from Thanksgiving that got pushed behind other items in the refrigerator. I'd forgotten all about this little treat put in the refrigerator because I didn't see it. Fast forward to how it looked today; it was petrified and looked awful. Seeing this Thanksgiving goodie that I'd kept that looked delicious in November to its current appearance was disgusting. It sure put the food choice into perspective. You aren't tempted if you don't see it. Even further, if you don't buy it or bring it home, you aren't tempted either. Keep your trigger foods out of your radar.

4. Empower yourself with the trash. Huh? My husband brought home leftover food from a work function he attended. It was not the best nutritional choice for anyone. Rather than keep it around, I threw it away. It felt so empowering to throw away the unhealthy food item. I chose the health of myself and my family over the temporary enjoyment of eating an undesirable food choice. You and your health are more important than any fleeting food fix

Easy Weight Loss Using 2-Minute TV Commercials

I'm going to share with you an easy exercise tip that will boost your metabolism and accelerate your weight loss in the comfort of your home. But before I do that, I want to address a common complaint by most people when it comes to losing weight.

That complain is that they don't have enough time in the day to exercise. This is usually just an excuse for being lazy, however I'll make it easy for you. I want you to be lazy and watch tv for at least 1 hour each night.

Ok? Great. But, there's a catch.

During the commercials I want you to do this 1 simple exercise. It won't take more than 2 minutes of your time since most commercials don't last more than 2 minutes. The average 1-hour tv show has about 22 minutes of commercials during it. So if you use those 22 minutes effectively, you'll not only get to watch tv, but you'll get your workout in for the day.

Now to the exercise. The exercise is jumping on a mini-trampoline. It's also called a rebounder. You can get one from Wal-Mart for about $24. It'll be one of the best investments you'll ever make. It's handy, compact, and mobile. It doesn't take up much space at all when you're not using it.

So here's how this works.

Wherever you watch tv, simply put the mini-trampoline down in front of the tv or to the side. Once a commercial comes on, you simply jump on it until the tv program comes back on. Before I go further I must mention that you don't need to jump high on these things. All you need is a small 1-2 inch jump for this to work great.

Heck, you can even forget jumping and just move your heels up and down while leaving your toes still touching the mini-trampoline at all times. You do this by simply bouncing your heels left to right in rhythm.

Obviously you don't need to limit yourself to just doing this during tv commercials. You can use a mini-trampline whenever you want. There are 2 other ways I like to use it while I'm at home. Before and after I go to the bathroom, I like to jump on it for 1 minute. Another way I use it is while I'm cooking and doing laundry. There is a lot of "dead time" doing those 2 things. So I fill that dead time up with jumping on the mini-trampoline for a minute or two here and there.

There's no schedule which is what makes this so great. One to two minutes here and there throughout the day whenever you get the chance helps to solve that problem of getting to the gym. So there's no need to stress out about getting your workout in. Do it at home.

Just use the mini-trampline during tv commercials and whenever you get a free minute or two and you'll be well on your way to losing weight without clogging up your schedule with going to the gym.
